Sovereign autonomy
for ground and air.

AGMS · AAMS · OmegaMTL — India's autonomous ground and aerial mobility systems on a single sovereign software stack.

ATEON LABS PRIVATE LIMITED · CIN U62011KA2025PTC207897 · Bengaluru, India

Mission

“India's hardest terrain — stairs, fields, mines, borders — will be worked by machines. Someone will build those machines and own their software. We intend for that someone to be Indian.

Problem

The last 100 metres of Indian logistics is human-powered — and the machines that could take it over are imported, banned, or blind.

GoI CBIC drone import ban (Feb 2022); MoD indigenous-component mandates barring border-country parts.

Why Now

Policy closed the border.
Capital opened the door.

2022
Drone import ban
Indigenous is the only legal default for most UAV classes.
6.2 L Cr
India defence budget, FY26 scale
iDEX grants ₹1.5 Cr std, ADITI to ₹25 Cr; Make-II open to startups.
$11 B+
India drone-sector band by 2030
BlueWeave / MarketsandMarkets range; commercial + defence.
Product · Ground

AGMS-X1 — stair-capable autonomous ground mobility.

54,200
Subscale kinematics de-risk cost
Published testbed BOM — not the production vehicle cost.
TRL-2 conceptSubscale testbed built & costed
Production 50 kg-payload vehicle is a TRL-2 concept; kinematics and control de-risked at subscale.
Product · Air

AAMS-X1 — LiDAR-free autonomous aerial mobility.

10,300
Bench-stack figure
From the AAMS engineering dossier.
TRL-2/3 honesty
Concept + bench navigation stack; flight-form prototype is the funded 2026 milestone.
Platform

One sovereign software spine — OmegaMTL — runs both vehicles.

Perception, planning and safety on-device. Ground and air share compute, harness, batteries, tooling — and one supply chain.

Every rupee spent on the stack compounds across both product lines.

Tech Moat

Most autonomy is a demo.
Ours is designed to be provable.

01ALR / CPLR

Verified-reasoning runtime: machine-checkable decision traces — an inspectable safety case for DGCA and MoD certification.

02AegisWeave

Safety and containment fabric around the autonomy core.

03NSRM

Navigation & state-reasoning module shared across ground and air.

04IP strategy

Provisional → complete filings staged with funding. No granted patents yet; strategy documented.

Verified autonomy is the certification story — a differentiator no Indian competitor markets today.

Why Buyers Win With ATEON

01Sovereign & compliant by construction

Import ban + indigenous-component mandates make ATEON procurable where imports aren't. iDEX / Make-II / positive-list aligned.

02TCO buyers already trust

Mining AHS: 15–20% opex reduction. Agri drone service: ₹300–700/acre vs slower manual spraying. Autonomous last-mile removes the largest cost line — the human.

03Price anchor

Switchblade 300 ≈ $53–58k/unit; imported military UGVs $100k–650k. ATEON testbed de-risk: ₹54,200 (~$650) — Indian cost structure on a sovereign stack.

04One stack, ground + air

One training pipeline, one spares chain, one safety case, one vendor — instead of separate UGV and UAV ecosystems.

Sources: Switchblade 300 unit cost $52,914–$58,063 (skykam.co.uk; US Army $186M order, calibredefence.co.uk) · UGV price band (breakingdefense.com RCV coverage) · Mining AHS 15–20% (Komatsu/AHS analyses) · Agri ₹300–700/acre (Leher/Neptune Farming, 2024–26) · Import & component bans (CBIC 2022; idrw.org).

Proof of Engineering

The ₹54,200 testbed — every rupee published.

Subscale structural analogue for kinematics/control de-risking — NOT the 50 kg-payload production vehicle; no full-scale BOM exists. AAMS bench-stack: ₹10,300 (dossier). Line items published in paper.md §4.1 — part-numbered, costed, reproducible.

Where We Are

Honest traction.

  • Company incorporated (2025)
  • AGMS/AAMS engineering dossiers with costed BOMs
  • OmegaMTL architecture research programme + paper
  • Strategy corpus: GTM, patents, funding
  • Subscale kinematics de-risked
  • No revenue
  • No deployed robots
  • No granted patents — yet

A seed investor at TRL-2 is buying the quality of the plan and the team's ability to execute it. We've made that plan unusually inspectable.

Market

Two markets, one indigenisation floor.

$11 B
India drone sector by 2030
Services + manufacturing band (BlueWeave / MarketsandMarkets).
$3–4 B → $8–9 B
Global UGV market into the 2030s
CAGR ~8–16% across reports (MarketResearchFuture / Mordor).
75%
Defence capital budget earmarked domestic
Indigenisation floor on capital procurement (MoD).

Ranges by design — no false precision.

Competition & Positioning

Sovereignty of stack × ground-and-air breadth.

ideaForge / NewSpace

Indian, air-only, conventional autonomy. (~$11.3M Indian Army order proves procurement appetite.)

Western primes (AeroVironment…)

Capable — but banned or priced out: $53k+ per Switchblade 300.

Chinese imports

Banned. Supply vacuum by policy.

ATEON

Indian + ground-and-air + verified-autonomy stack. None of the above ship a verified-reasoning runtime or a common ground+air stack.

Business Model

Three ways the stack earns.

01RaaS

Robotics-as-a-service: per-vehicle/month + per-km / per-sortie pricing.

02Hardware + AMC

Sale + maintenance contracts for defence / Make-II procurement.

03OmegaMTL licensing

Software licensing to OEMs — the long-term margin engine.

Target blended hardware margin path from Indian BOM cost structure. Land-and-expand via PoCs → RaaS contracts; defence via iDEX challenge → Make-II production order.

Go-To-Market

Two tracks, one prototype fleet.

ACommercial

Campus / hospital / agri / mining PoCs in Bengaluru radius → paid pilots → RaaS. Commercial pilots generate the operating data defence evaluators ask for.

BDefence

iDEX challenge entry (grant-funded prototype) → Make-II → positive-list procurement.

Both tracks share the same TRL-6 prototypes.

The Ask

14.3 Cr seed → two TRL-6 prototypes + pilots in 18–24 months.
